Canada
Canada is home to a large number of Bible colleges, institutes and seminaries which are committed to teaching a Biblical worldview. In spite of this, there is a huge decline in church membership, especially within the traditional denominations. Pray for revival in the church. The large number of diverse ethnic groups who have immigrated to Canada's cities brings Canada's christians a great opportunity to share the Good News of God's love. Pray that believers will realize this opportunity.
Liebenzell Mission of Canada is working in cooperation with other Christian organizations and churches in Toronto to create opportunities for ministries to grow and flourish among the diverse ethnic communties. In connection with this, our staff runs a Cross-cultural internship program for Liebenzell missionary candidates from the seven sending countries.
Currently, we have one missionary family serving as Hostel Parents at the SIL boarding school in Papua New Guinea and a missionary couple serving in Bangladesh with a congregatin of Bengali believers. | |

United States of America
The United States of America has always been a country where freedom of ideas and beliefs can be expressed. It wields a heavy influence on the world through media and politics. With this important role, pray that the President and his cabinet leaders will make wise and well balanced decisions. Pray that the influence of US culture will progress the Gospel rather than promote materialism and secular ideals.
The Evangelical church has seen large growth in the past few decades, but many of the youth of the nation are set adrift in the middle of the culture wars that are taking place between humanism and Christianity. Pray that the disorientation and spiritual vulnerability can be overcome by a deep desire to search out the truth of Scripture and by a deep understanding of the message of hope that Jesus brings.
Liebenzel Mison USA has missionaries in Ecuador, Guam, the Micronesian Islands, Spain and in the USA. They also have a retreat centre ministry located in Schooley's Mountain, New Jersey. | |
